AI-ming for $150M revenue by going fully AI & truly global

Company Interview29 Sep, 2025

Key bullet points:

Targeting 99%+ AI-only transcription accuracy by Christmas Ambitious revenue goals of $120m for Lexi and $150m overall by FY29 Expansion into Europe, Asia, government, and enterprise markets Major government contracts secured across US, UK, Canada, and Australia

Tony Abrahams of AI-Media (ASX: AIM) outlines strategic ambitions to transform the company with a fully AI-powered model. Abrahams states that by Christmas, the company aims to remove the human element from its transcription and translation workflows, relying solely on native AI to deliver results exceeding 99% accuracy. This move, according to Abrahams, represents a significant leap in both technology and service quality, aligning with AI-Media’s drive to become a leading technology-led business.

Abrahams details ambitious growth targets for AI-Media, targeting $120 million in Lexi revenue within four years, following a rise from $800,000 to $24 million over the last four years. He expects annual recurring revenue to increase by 35% in FY26, supported by product expansion, especially Lexi voice for live translation. The company also focuses on geographic expansion across Europe and Asia and moving into government and enterprise sectors, building on its dominance in the US broadcast market.

Securing major government contracts has played a crucial role, with AI-Media achieving security accreditation from the US Department of Defense. This accreditation led to a $500,000 US purchase order for Congress, with AI-Media equipment now in use in legislative chambers in the US, UK, Canada, and several Australian states. Abrahams also highlights efforts to scale the business further through strategic reseller partnerships.
