Dr Henk-Jen Boele from BlinkLab (ASX: BB1) shares insights on the company's AI-driven diagnostic platform. This technology uses facial reflex responses, captured via smartphone, to assess neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD in children as young as 18 months.

BlinkLab (ASX: BB1) has secured Institutional Review Board approval for its FDA diagnostic trial, allowing the commencement of real studies. This trial will compare the BlinkLab test to the traditional diagnostic method, aiming for a quicker and more convenient process. The goal is to evaluate sensitivity and specificity against current clinical standards.

Post-FDA approval, commercialization and insurance reimbursement become priorities. The first target market includes autism specialists, followed by general practitioners. BlinkLab has secured $7.7 million funding to support these trials, with plans to launch an ADHD-focused trial.
