DroneShield proves there's a SaaS for everything

With the threat from drones changing as quickly as every 90 days, Droneshield (ASX: DRO) says it's well positioned to provide global defence customers with frequent updates and agile response times. A key advisor to DroneShield is retired Major General Fergus (Gus) McLachlan who says civilian defence customers are rapidly moving to a SaaS procurement model. This move changes the revenue model for firms such as DroneShield, and he says it expanding as traditionally slow moving government defence forces catch up.

McLachlan says DroneShield can manufacture and ship quickly and is ramping this capacity up five-fold through outsourced manufacturing in Europe and the US.
