Key points:

DroneShield (ASX:DRO) secures $21.7 million in new Western military contracts Full-year net profit up 367% to $3.5 million, revenues reach $216.5 million AI-driven technology and expanded product lines to drive future growth Corporate governance strengthened to support rapid scaling and investor confidence

DroneShield (ASX:DRO) has announced a series of six new contracts worth $21.7 million to supply counter-drone technology to Western military customers. While specific end-users remain confidential due to the sensitive nature of defence contracts, CEO Oleg Vornik highlights that the direct buyer is a subsidiary of a global publicly listed corporation. The company expects to deliver these systems and software by March 31, positioning itself at the forefront of the rapidly expanding counter-drone market, which Vornik says is only just beginning its wider rollout to militaries worldwide.

DroneShield has reported a full-year net profit of $3.5 million, a 367% increase from the previous year, and revenue of $216.5 million, underpinned by surging global demand. Vornik emphasises strong growth in the business’s topline and profitability, projecting over $100 million in revenues already secured for 2026. He also points to recent corporate governance improvements guided by Freehills, including new board and executive shareholding benchmarks, as part of the company's strategy to manage its rapid growth and boost shareholder confidence after last year's share price volatility.

Looking ahead, Vornik anticipates further sector expansion beyond drone guns, with increasing adoption of AI-driven counter-drone solutions. The company is targeting a balanced mix of military and civilian contracts, and significant manufacturing scale-up through new facilities in Sydney and overseas.
