Vection Technologies (ASX:VR1) secures a landmark $22.3 million framework agreement with a NATO-approved defence sector supplier, marking its largest deal yet. Lorenzo Biagi states the company specialises in delivering AI and spatial computing solutions to help clients solve business challenges and create value. With roots in industrial manufacturing, Biagi highlights how Vection leverages extended reality and artificial intelligence, evolving from a two-person startup in Bologna, Italy, into a technology provider for diverse industries including healthcare, retail, education, and manufacturing.

Biagi points out that listing on the ASX was a deliberate strategy to strengthen the firm's financial position. This move came after a merger opportunity with an already listed company, which Biagi regards as extremely beneficial for Vection’s growth. The company now reports annual revenues of $38 million with a blended margin between 35% and 40%, attributing financial stability to established technologies and continued R&D efforts.

Beyond the European defence sector, Biagi expresses optimism about expanding existing contracts and tapping further opportunities, especially as geopolitical factors accelerate demand. Flexible technology offerings enable the company to target clients across multiple verticals, providing a broad and resilient business base.
