Imricor (ASX:IMR) Investor Presentation

Company Interview27 Nov, 2025

Imricor (ASX:IMR) is making strides as the only company to have developed commercially viable, MRI-compatible catheter ablation devices for real-time, radiation-free heart procedures. Imricor's Nick Corkill highlights that cardiovascular disease remains the world's leading cause of death, with arrhythmia, notably atrial fibrillation, now reaching epidemic proportions among older populations. Traditional antiarrhythmic medications only manage symptoms and carry significant side effects, while defibrillators and pacemakers, though effective, do not address the underlying causes. Corkill states the most dramatic shift is the adoption of MRI-guided minimally invasive procedures, offering a major leap over the limitations of legacy X-ray imaging in heart ablation.

Corkill notes Imricor's entry into a US$12 billion global cardiac ablation market, which is expanding at approximately a 15% annual rate, propelled by technological advances and the growth in arrhythmia incidence. Imricor's unique position as sole provider of MRI-compatible consumables enables the company to capture 100% of procedure consumable revenue. With ongoing regulatory approvals in Europe and deepening relationships with MRI manufacturers like Philips, Siemens, and GE, Corkill believes Imricor stands to drive faster adoption and higher procedure volumes across new hospitals internationally.

Imricor's technology significantly reduces procedure times, eliminates radiation exposure for patients and staff, and shows early evidence of measurable improvement in patient outcomes. Corkill highlights scalability, with a growing pipeline of hospitals in Europe and the Middle East, and anticipates further expansion as approvals are completed in the US.
