Ken Brinsden, managing director and CEO of Patriot Battery Metals (ASX:PMT) highlights the scale and high-grade resource base of the company’s flagship Shaakichiuwaanaan project, which hosts lithium, caesium, and tantalum—essential minerals for the global energy transition.

Brinsden describes the Shaakichiuwaanaan project as the largest hard rock lithium resource in the Americas, with a feasibility study expected to be completed in the third quarter. He points out lithium’s role in supporting electric vehicle (EV) and stationary energy storage growth, while caesium could drive innovation in next-generation solar technology.

Additionally, Brinsden points to the diversification of caesium supply away from China as a key opportunity for Western markets.
