Water technology specialist SciDev (ASX: SDV) has reported $21.5 million in new and renewed contracts, with CEO Sean Halpin highlighting wins across all business units as the company eyes a robust pipeline for growth.
The Perth-based company, which partners with heavy industry to tackle complex water challenges, has secured a $10 million deal in the US Permian Basin with a blue-chip E&P player. The win follows strong field trials for SciDev’s high-performance friction reducers and proprietary chemistry, which can boost well production by over 10% while reducing water use and downtime.
Domestically, SciDev has secured a PFAS remediation project in NSW, positioning itself to benefit from tightening global regulations around “forever chemicals.” Halpin noted the company’s filtration technology offers superior capacity, lower waste generation, and high performance, providing a cost-effective and scalable solution as PFAS regulation ramps up globally.
