Greg Miles, managing director of Caspin Resources (ASX:CPN), outlines how the company has taken a new strategic direction centred on its Bygoo tin project in New South Wales. Miles states that recent drilling has returned some of the highest-grade tin intersections the company has recorded, results he views as significant given tightening global supply of the metal and its importance to electronics and clean-energy technologies.
Miles explains that the latest hits extend mineralisation beyond the existing Kelpie resource, which he says points to the potential scale of the system at Bygoo. He frames tin as a metal with a compelling supply-demand story, and claims Caspin's position gives shareholders exposure to a discovery that is still growing with each drilling campaign.
Looking ahead, Miles says the near-term focus is follow-up drilling to test the extent of the Bygoo system and build toward an expanded resource, while continuing to assess the company's Western Australian nickel-copper-PGE and gold ground. He adds that Caspin Resources (ASX:CPN) is managing its exploration spend carefully to prioritise the targets it believes offer the greatest value for shareholders.
