Brickworks (ASX: BKW) has upgraded its guidance - and is expecting property earnings for the second half of FY25 to surpass those recorded in the first half, driven by revaluation gains and development profits. Brickworks expects a $65 million revaluation gain within its industrial property trust, primarily due to a moderate compression in cap rates over the period. In addition, a development profit of approximately $39 million is expected from Oakdale East Stage 2. Net trust income for the second half of FY25 is projected to be broadly in line with the first half, excluding the profit from property trust sales recorded in 1H25. Brickworks is set to merge with Sol Patts.
Droneshield (ASX: DRO) has signed a new $9.7 million Latin American contract...with delivery and payment due in the second half of 2025. Last week, the counterdrone provider signed its largest contract to date - worth $61.6 million, for a European customer.
And defence technology provider Electro Optic Systems (ASX: EOS) has said it expects revenue in the $40 to 45 million range.... notably pushed by the finalisation of a long-standing contract with a customer in the Middle-East. Electro Optic Systems says that market conditions remain strong in the defence sector and anticipates stronger revenue in the second half of the year.
Paladin Energy (ASX: PDN) has appointed Canadian Michele Buchi-gnani as an independant non-executive director. Paladin's Chair, Cliff Lawrenson, has said that since the acquisition of 'Fission Uranium' in Canada, Paladin has been looking to get a new voice from the country in its board.
Elsewhere - Dalrymple Bay Infrastructure (ASX: DBI) has guided to a 24.50 cents dividend for this year. This would be a 6.5% incresae from the year before.
Superloop (ASX:SLC) shares are rocketing higher on a profit upgrade - it estimates underlying earnings to be $91 mln - up from A$54.3 mln a year ago.
