CEO of Freelancer (ASX: FLN) Matt Barrie says AI is changing the skill set of its key cohort, with freelancers around the world upskilling as the nature of work changes.

Freelancer has been around since 2009 - and calls itself the world's largest freelancing and crowdsourcing marketplace. It allows employers to hire freelancers to do work in everything from software development to legal services.

With a market cap of around 80 million dollars it just squeezes into the ASX top 1000 companies.
